10,000 Gecs is it really that good or is it just conceptually that good?

You probably don’t remember but when Lucious Jackson released Daughters of the Kaos is was really seriously very fucking cool and exciting

then they came out with Natural Ingredients and the critics mostly praised it but in reality the thrill was gone. Compare that to Loser and Beck. It’s not really fair to say you’re no Beck as a criticism but 100 Gecs are getting crazy love from the critics but are these critics actually still riding the excitement from money machine

i mean money machine is one of the best singles of the 21st century and that’s a lot of dick to ride. But Zep 1 has Communication Breakdown and wtf could they do after THAT? Well, this was motherfucking Led Zeppelin and Zep 2 still blows the mind track for track top to bottom. So is my point so far gecs aren’t Beck or LZ? Yeah, it is. 10,000 gecs is really good. It’s really fun. But it definitely does not have a money machine level banger. Just keeping it real. You can’t just be excellent on paper if you want to go next level.
