I’ve slowed down on my reviews because BandCamp has been a fucking desert lately. Everything I want to listen to and review is missing tracks hoping you’ll be so thrilled with what’s available you’ll send in money for the rest. Sure, because there aren’t even a million other things I can listen to for free. Anyway, that’s my biggest bitch lately. Not wars or diseases or environmental disaster but not every last song I want to listen to for free isn’t available for free. Fucking tragic.

I try to be educational so in case you don’t know Harris is completely immortalized in rock’n’roll history for playing drums on Napalm Death’s game changing grindcore classic Scum. He also did a lot of other important music shit. He’s very influential. Several musical paths were paved because of his ideas.

This release continues in a long streak of releases that more or less follow a basic format he created in his band Scorn. Relatively slow unusual beats with low key creepy sounds floating around. It’s stoner stuff but I haven’t been high in a minute and I still really like it. He’s getting pretty old but this one definitely hits the spot. Maybe it’s my perspective opening up to it but it seems like music creation is more and more an old folks game these past ten years or so especially. I don’t know if this review is going to garner any new fans for Harris but if you haven’t heard his music educate your ears.
