Bells. The Assyrians were ringing bells at least 9,000 years ago and people were undoubtedly ringing bells thousands of years before that. Bells are universal and no culture has a monopoly on their usage. They represent the earthly alert of a ready meal to the spiritual calls to prayer to the passing of the human soul from this plane to the next.
Placing bells into a vapor format is a natural and important progression. There are oceans of space for the echoes of nostalgia or even better false nostalgia and the sky’s the limit on new age / ambient infused vapor. Just make it more ethereal and dreamy. Bells echo so well. Make it a genre. Call it vaporbell.
