Let’s start with what up with Hawkwind. Octogenarian, Dave Brock, is the sole original member of this band that has had nearly fifty lineup changes since their inception back in the summer of 69. He is credited with vocals, guitar, and synth on this record.
Richard Chadwick, born in 57 was floating around the punk scene in Bath until he landed about the coolest job imaginable, drumming for Hawkwind, back in the summer of 88.
Magnus Martin, whose age I do not know, plays bass, guitar, synth, and sings. He’s been with the band since 2016 and is also in the band Tarantism that you can check out here:

Doug MacKinnon plays bass and he’s also in the stoner band Cybernetic Witch Cult that have fabulously cool album covers and you can check them out here:

And for my money, the most impressive resume in the bunch (including Brock) belongs to Thighpaulsandra who started working with the great experimental post punk band, Coil, early on and came on the scene working with Juilian Cope and he played a fair amount with the greatest space rock band ever (tied with Spacemen 3), Spiritualized.
So with that background out of the way, let me tell you, the quality control on the record is fantastic. All meat and no filler. If you like space rock and psychedelic hippy core this is not to be missed. The production, song writing, themes, sound effects, musicianship all of it is first rate. Brock is doing a great job putting the right people around him because this is a goddamn fucking masterpiece.
