The legendary Lori S returns with the great Acid King to bring us, after too fucking long another classic stoner metal classic. Acid King are one of the greatest metal bands of all time and the greateet stoner band of all time and the most under appreciated metal band ever. They blow the fucking shit out of Sleep and Electric Wizard and whoever fucking else came after Sabbath.
This album is such a welcome addition to 2023. Goddamn have we needed this band. This is just all of it. Lori’s voice is so amazing. She takes the band to such incredible heights. It’s turning into a great year for music. Danny Brown and JPEGmafia release a record and now this and all so recently. Hell motherfucking yes. Fuck yes. Yes!
