I feel like I’ve been looking for something to review for too long. I’m really trying to be a bit stingier with my ratings but I simply can’t deny that this is a flawless pop record top to bottom no skips. Every song is a winner. The lyrics are on the nose topical and sometimes brash like what did she just say… I think this will definitely appeal to fans of Soccer Mommy who I also really really really like. One of my biggest goals for writing this blog is to expose things early or to shine a light on what’s being overlooked. I want to catch things early. I know the world can be unjust and nobody knows the future but I can’t see this as doing anything but becoming far more popular. Pitchfork will probably pick this up and pretend they told you first but we’ll know the truth. I’ve said it before but good pop songs is the rarest talent. Oh and the very brief skits or whatever remind me of Lauren Hill’s Miseducation… love 💕 💕 💕 This is a great one. Proud to be an early voice.
