Dream Catalogue guy, David Russo aka Lucid has a strange hostile fixation on Daniel Lopatin aka Oneohtrix Point Never

Twitter is a weird hostile place. My account is still sitting over there occasionally bringing in some views to this blog. Twitter is a place where everything is misconstrued and everything is put in the worst possible light. When Musk took over I opened a Mastodon account and my blog has been actually done better promoting it there. I get more engagement on Mastodon. But anyway, at some point last year the Dream Catalogue account guy started having some kind of crisis or something. Twitter is also weird in that once you have followers they will continue to back you to embarrassing extremes. So it went with the DC guy when he posted this while seemimgly on the edge of some sort of breakdown

so then i chimed in and was like opn is way more popular than you and said something like it’s not a big deal but they’re way way bigger – doesn’t mean they’re better – something like that

Anyway, that’s where it ended. I actually love the Dream Catalogue.
