This is better than Daydream Nation so we can start right fucking there. Besides the SYR stuff this is the last perfect Sonic Youth release. How the fuck people get this band so goddamn twisted is beyond me. It’s astonishing that something so seemingly out of their lane from previous releases is such an incredible success. Hypnotic. Contagious. Unpredictable. Wild. Pure of heart. I understand that Sonic Youth is not in need of anymore love but I’m gettng a few off my chest like This Crash Worship cassette
