You can find different information about who made this and what they went on to do elsewhere. I just want to write about the music and my relationship with it. Two of my closest friends were really into it at first. We all lived in the same house so I started hearing it a lot. The song Knife in particular, started to fascinate me and eventually I became obsessed with it. Some of these musical treasures from the cassette trading era of the 1980’s are starting to resurface and you’re not going to find many that deserve attention as much as this does. Sometimes it’s really the sound that’s political. I believe this is feminism and the expression of patriarchal trauma. It’s very goth heavy which can seem like an exaggeration when done poorly but it’s genuinely horrifying when honest. This is very vulnerable and brutal music.
