As far as I know this as close to pop music Arkbro has ventured. I think there’s a misconception among some that this could be an easier path but that certainly isn’t the case. This is her most vulnerable and most exposed effort and those qualities are very beautiful in this context. There’s hints of Talk Talk and Sigur Rós in here except her cards are held a bit more tightly to her chest. It’s as if the listener must meet her half way. This is music you might have to surrender to but for great rewards. Like I already said, it’s very beautiful.
