Genre: Freak Folk

Rating: 5/5

released on bandcamp May 6, 2022

This is extraordinarily beautiful ghostly folk music borrowing from the richest traditions. Frankly, if its bad ass you can hear it in this: B. F. Shelton, Roscoe Holcomb, John Fahey, Nick Drake (when you can here those little suicidal hints) , even the evil side of Bob Dylan (and if don’t think Dylan has an evil side you’re listening close enough). Fans of Bill Callahan should like this and if you’re into Kurt Bauer you’ll love this. And if you’re not, change your life here: https://bangsnap.bandcamp.com/album/the-great-blasphemer .

Ethereal ghostly American primitive. Goddamn, all I can do is bow down before this. Positively, phenomenal. AOTY all over this.
