I’m listening to this and I’m dumbfounded by the lack of attention this has received. Partly, I’m aghast at the injustice of it, but mostly I’m thinking holy shit what a huge fucking score for my blog to write about it first.

First off, just listen to it and respect my gangsta as a music writer for turning you on to it.

This reminds me of the brilliant record Goon by Tobias Jesso Jr. Other parts remind me of Simon and Garfunkel and, yes, that’s a huge compliment. Every song is beautifully crafted with no stupid one line digressions or vocal ploys that don’t work. The songs are fantastic start to finish from the first song to the last.

Jarrad Kritzstein does have a pretty damn impressive resume if you look at his Wikipedia or Discogs page.

Again this is beautiful, simple production (bandcamp notes mentioned recorded on iPhone 6). The songs are either guitar and voice or piano and voice. I really hope this blows up and there’s justice for this man’s talent.
