2E is an aggressive, noisy, post punk rock record. The bandcamp tags include “no wave” but since the original, and, I suppose, only no wave scene was so artistically fragmented it’s hard to say what from today would actually have to be rooted in to be a neo no wave so post punk it is. You know post punk? The genre that actually predated punk but still managed to build on its own future roots. And here we are decades later stoking the fires.
The three things I like about this is its sincerity, intensity, and quality. It’s an aggressive take on an aggressive take.
Very respectable torch bearers.
