My favorite and least favorite thing about this is the album cover reminiscent of the horrifying Dark Angel covers. I hope that poor girl never sees this.
As their names would lead you to believe SpermaNoise are the harsh noise band and To Hell With Religion are grindcore.
Merzbow didn’t invent noise but they pretty much own it at this point. SpermaNoise basically sounds like that.
I’m pretty sure there’s already a band called Fuck Religion and probably ten or so. To Hell With Religion are both hard hitting and a little goofy. They’re probably a blast live. I bet both of these bands are.
Before I sign off I should add that this is badass. I think this review has been a little too flippant so I’m adding this addendum to get the balance right.
