This one is kind of a retro-contemporary electronic release. Sorry for the ridiculous classification but it definitely conjures the early pioneers of electronic music in an austere way despite being improvisational.
The duo successfully build on each other’s ideas and it’s a fun curious listen but thankfully never silly. There’s a Milton Babbit vibe here. Early sci-fi film soundtracks.
I really like this in a nostalgic way. It reminds me a lot of the stuff I listened to in high school high as fuck praying to god nobody bothered me. Perfectly avant-garde. Great for reading Huxley and perusing art books.
