I could be wrong but seems like 2019 was the last great great year for metal. Are we in a bit of drought? Nothing has hit me over the head and said you’re not going to believe this but this is crazier than the last craziest thing out there. And this too isn’t the extreme of extreme but it still gets 5/5 because it completely dominates its atmospheric black metal lane. The songs engross are creepy take over your mind and force you to revisit that kid who’s a little too stoned and has to go home to something that might not heal. Some metal makes the listener feel powerful. But this makes you cower before the gods. Have mercy I honestly don’t think there are many of these records left. They’re fewer and further in between and maybe they should be.
