On the real here ngl keeping it 100 and all that last night the creeps were up in my noodle doing bad things. I put this in my noise canceling headphones and it was like a brain massage. I felt comforted and easy.
I listen to a lot of harsh music. It’s important to experience art that expresses the angst of existence. But there’s also peace and beauty. It might be harder to find these days and all the days before for all I know. At least for some people.
I used to think I was too sophisticated for music lacking abrasion. Now I know I wasn’t sophisticated enough. Relying on all peace instead of tension and resolution and still finding a way to keep the listener engaged is a very rare skill indeed.
