This genre! I always think the music is going to be corny and campy and amateurish. But this is it! I’m done with the prejudiced stereotyping. These are great compositions. The music is beautifully atmospheric and cinematic. It could easily call itself neo-Renaissance or neo-baroque as it’s perfectly respectful of past traditions.
Ancient Hearsay is artful sonic landscaping through the lens of early occidental music traditions. One of our ancient homes is not just slipping through our fingertips as a contemporary musical creative force but rather it’s activated and celebrated right here. Well done!
