A dark ambient release that wouldn’t be out of place on Cryo Chamber https://cryochamber.bandcamp.com . It flows in that vast cold emptiness of space zone. While this is certainly a crowded field james distinguishes himself with powerful deeply evocative swelling slow waves of low frequency drones. Many releases in this musical corner employ the same technique but this is more engrossing and easier to sink into and meditate on. Despite the electronics much of the power comes from its organic feel. The textures feel natural and even though I mentioned space already it’s also terrestrial. The layers of sound seemingly representing the layers of earth and atmosphere.
