I believe in plant sentience. I believe that the most important thing a black metal band can do is bridge the thought gap between humans and trees, especially oak trees. I’m not saying that’s what this band thinks they’ve done or set out to do. I don’t know about that. I do know that this is what they’ve accomplished. The music evokes a meditative state that allows the listener to converse with oak trees.
