Definitely an AOTY finalist.
Banjo music from the point of view of the banjo. A look into the mind of a banjo. Field recording sounds and the sawing and deconstruction of the instrument along with the banjo played in four shape and seven shape systems. It’s the deepest dive into the consciousness of the instrument I’ve ever heard.
I know this review is really weird but it’s incumbent upon me to speak on the music honestly and truth can be stranger than fiction.
