Grandbruit has 12 releases on bandcamp this year. I decided not to go back to their debut but rather to their first release this year since I’m trying to, at least, focus on this year’s music although often I do same week and often even same day releases. I’m trying to get over it but I can find it aggravating when an artist is overly prolific just because even if they’re really talented, as this one is, there’s still so much to get to that I can’t realistically get to 12 releases. These Kawabata Makoto releases https://kawabata-makoto.bandcamp.com are probably all 5/5 caliber. If only we lived to be a thousand. It’s not without precedent though, Johann Sebastian Bach composed over 1000 pieces of music.
Nos matins is kinda Disintegrated Loopy. The music is hypnotic and melancholy and beautiful.
