Crazy to think how normal the world was then. I was in a tenured teaching job. Presidents were just the same ol same ol except one was black. No pandemic. No feeling like America is on the cusp of a civil war. And wow was 2016 a great year for music. Maybe the best since 1987.
This is a really good release and the culminating track, Come, Triumph , is especially outstanding with Travis Laplante https://travislaplante.bandcamp.com/album/inner-garden taking it to a next level ambient jazz fusion in the In a Silent Way tradition.
