Sounds sort of like DJ Screw was messing around with his My Bloody Valentine records. This approximately nine minute EP deserves to be applauded for its brevity in this age of digital foreverness for almost everything that isn’t pop. That said, these grooves do have that outside of time quality of good drone and could get away with being much longer. They’re great standing alone but they could also be a great foundation for remixing and reinterpreting by an electronic drone artist or for lots of things. Beautiful textures like this don’t come around everyday.
