This is a surprisingly good vapor release. Nice grooves that are very easy to slip into, good production and arrangements.
It’s surprising this hasn’t made more inroads into the mainstream because it seems to me like it should appeal to everybody. I don’t just mean this record, but records of this sort, pulled off successfully like this. This would go great as a kind of elevator easy listening type thing except it’s better. This would tickle my brain at the grocery store and seems in every way suited to it. Or a vaccination center. Or hotel corridors.
This may be Swedish but it has a perfect San Junipero vibe.
