This is, as far as I remember, the first album I’ve listened to this June and immediately thought this is definitely going to be on my AOTY list for 2021.

Tyler Odom has brilliantly blended seemingly very sincere emo with folk music soft rock instrumentation and holy fucking shit can he play his instruments and god-fucking-damn if he doesn’t have a wonderful gift for creating beautiful catchy melodic lines.

I could name drop names like crazy here because he seems to be pulling inspiration out of everything but in the process he’s created something completely original. I’ve never heard anything like it. Bow down before the greatness; this is a 21st century masterpiece.

If we’re making the planet unsuitable for human habitation at least we’re going out with a bang. Fucking brilliant.
