Yeah you know ambient music is seriously ready for a makeover and this is a damn good way to go about it. Vagenas makes it weirder but manages to avoid the everyday is Halloween spooky trap of DARK ambient. Actually, there’s nothing wrong with music that excites unease it’s just nice when there’s an alternative within alternative.
This is music that’s emotionally ambiguous yet engaging.
It’s program music and you can read the bandcamp notes if you care to. So it’s like you drink a lot of water everyday because you want to lose weight and stay hydrated. This is like if you put a little lemon in it. Gives it a new taste. The brain likes that. That’s what this is: ambient music is the water and this is the lemon juice. Or something like that. Gives your brain somewhere more interesting to do.
