It’s cool that some of this was recorded in Lahore and the ethnic flavor works in its favor but I’d so it’s conservative poppy nature, while done with sharp expertise, leaves this as a cut below Ustad Saami. I respect that these musicians pull it off without showboating or stepping on each other’s toes but it could use a little more fire if I’m going to be completely honest about it.
