I’m not gonna lie. I’ve never heard the album being chopped and screwed here but I found a review on Stereogum and I learned it was a 2018 release. It’s got a cool trap sound that purpberry seems to have expertly manipulated. I said it in a previous review but I really love this DJ carrying on the Screw tradition. This is a fun record with some serious moments and sooner or later I’ll have to make it a point to check out the original.
