This is an all star collaboration – compilation- collective mix tape type of thing from powerhouses on MMG. It’s full of lyrical gems.

There’s many paths that hip hop can take to appeal but one of my favorites is when listening to it makes me feel empowered. Like it grips and makes you feel like you’re the one spitting these ferocious bars on top of these tremendous beats. It’s so engaging that the process of listening feels like a performance. That’s the kind of hip hop this is. I admit to not meticulously following the genre like I used to but this is the first hip hop album that has grabbed me in this kind of way in quite some time.
