These artists have apparently done a lot of good work but this is the first time it’s crossed my path. Program music representing the works of Edgar Allen Poe. Everybody has so much Lovecraft mania recently I’m glad to hear a posse for Poe. These are real deeply thought out well composed serious tracks and everyone of them are exciting. This is REAL neo-classical not just some bedroom noodler who can afford a piano. I can see this appealing to fans of Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Bartok, Erroll Garner, and Jackie McLean. A bit of a hodgepodge there but it dips into the third stream.
