Very disciplined and respectful of traditions while simultaneously expressing a unique two decades into the twenty first century voice. My soggy mind doesn’t remember coming across this artist previously but I’m certainly inclined to check out his earlier material. Only the track Segen varies too far from tradition and the techno echo is the sole reason I didn’t give this a full five stars. The bandcamp notes are amusing and apparently this is some kind of program music related to the title despite being, thankfully, entirely instrumental. The final track, Die Wahl, carries the most “impending doom”. Whatever the beeps and bloops are supposed to mean this is an almost flawless record.
