This is a little different than what I typically associate with slushwave. Often it’s mysterious or on the listeners to determine what the instrumentations come from. Mostly, I think of it as production process and often I’m left unsure if it’s a long sample or a secret copyright violation or the producer playing an interpretation or slight variation on a famous theme or … you know… the unknown is part of the listening process. But here, and still I could be wrong, but apparently Asutenki, the artist here, plays original piano compositions set to a lofi slushwave background. If you know more about this people educate me.
