Absolutely stunning solo debut from marine eyes who has previously collaborated with the also stunningly brilliant 36. Comparisons to Grouper come to mind and her vocals used to great effect with very economical usage reincarnate Dolores O’Riordan into a more enlightened afterlife. She also plays guitar in a wonderfully minimalist fashion. Really very gorgeous melodic sensibilities makes this about as perfect as ambient can be. And the final ingredient is field recordings. Everything about it flows with perfection.
